I am a crochet artist living in Brooklyn, New York.
My love for craft began at an early age when I first learned to crochet at 7 years old. Eventually this lead me to the study of art therapy and then on to footwear and bag design. In New York City I brought this knowledge to the fashion industry working for such companies as Marc Jacobs, Opening Ceremony and Converse. Upon refusing a job offer to relocate out of New York, the decision was made for me to return to my art therapy roots and my craft and the opening of my design studio in Brooklyn.
Originally from Arizona, I combine a desert feel with Japanese influences to create natural, handcrafted goods to wear and for the home. My working process is personal and methodical. Each piece is truly one-of-a-kind. I love teaching and sharing this process with others in my studio and around the country.
