Kuro is designed with rope and threads with a focus towards lighter textures and distinctly, airy open weaves. The textile is finished with knotted ends, which indicate where each material starts, finishes and connects to the next, allowing the process to show through to the final execution. A lucite rod adds an unexpected element; balancing the raw form with subtle modernity.
