- Recycled Crochet Bag of Bags, May (ZOOM)
Recycled Crochet Bag of Bags, May (ZOOM)
2 Sundays - a 2-day class,
Both days begin at 11:00am EST / 4:00pm GMT / 5:00pm CET
Learn how to make use of recyclable items in an immediate and creative form of meditation. Size, shape and overall product is your choice: a bag to carry or a basket and to your imagination...Examples in photos show Taryn's own plastics in her own household transforming into a bucket bag currently in the making. The black plastic sample is of the same black bags collected over time to create a single-tone handbag. The first session you will learn how to crochet the bottom of your bag and main body, the second session we will cover handles and how to finish your bag/basket.
*Prior knowledge of crochet is highly recommended for this class due to such a unique material we are crocheting with. You can purchase Crochet 101, a pre-recorded video by Taryn to learn the various stitches of chain, single, double, triple, and popcorn stitch here. Chain and single crochet is needed for this class. Practice with something simple such as yarn. Taryn will give an over view of the stitches in the zoom class. The more practice you have of the technique the more helpful and easier to find your rhythm it will be in the live session.
Once purchased ticket is made for the class, a list of materials will be emailed to you.
**20 people maximum for this class to allow for questions, assistance, and attention to everyone's details.
***Each project pre-recorded, live zoom and in person is not to be copied, sold, or sell the final product or project made in your class. I am sharing a piece of my method in creations for project take-away only. Each class is designed to open your mind in the creative process, explore and experiment through my guideline, think differently, work outside the "normal" guidelines per medium, not to use my techniques or ideations for resale. Yes, this does happen. Your purchase of each class must be in compliance of these guidelines.
