Crochet Lighting Workshop May 28th

Learn how to crochet your own sculptural lighting to add to your home! In this workshop, Taryn will teach a clean bowl shape that can easily be transformed into irregular shapes to cast beautiful shadows and an unexpected art form to the eye. Various "tips and tricks" will be taught.
A variety materials are included as well as light fixtures and LED edison bulb. We will be crocheting by hand as well as with large crochet hooks.
*No previous crochet experience necessary. Taryn teaches in a method that is a visual language that becomes repetitive as well as meditative.
With your purchase for a seat in this workshop, you agree to the following:
-Suggested arrival of 10 minutes early. This is my personal art studio, only 4 seats are available for an intimate and cozy experience.
-Taryn Urushido is not responsible for any injury or negligence of materials and tools used.
-Projects might not be completed by end of the workshop, however you will have the tools, materials and knowledge to complete your piece at home in your own time.
-Masks are optional, you may bring simple snacks and drinks. A short break will be taken if needed.
-Weather depending: we can move the workshop to the rooftop table space for some fresh air.
